In 2014 Apostle Sylvester L. Wallace Jr. heard the voice of God to plant a church in Riverside, California. He answered the call and called the name C.H.A.N.G.E.D. Church, Christ Has Anointed a New Generation of Excellent Disciples.

In 2020, Apostle Sly went to a church meeting and as he was walking out the Prophet who was up spoke out,”those men can take the city of Riverside.” After that it was clear that God graced him with the task to bring revival through the working of miracles, signs and wonders to Southern California.

The assignment over the church is also to disciple God's people through coaching, accountability and revelatory teachings on biblical principles. Apostle Sly has his masters in Psychology Clinical Counseling and operates in the office of prophecy rounding out the five-fold anointing on his life.

Our Co-Pastor and First Lady, serves Changed Church through the power and the anointing of Jesus Christ. She was drawn to the Lord through the Holy Spirit as a young girl and discovered her yes to the voice of God led directly towards her calling. She is passionate about empowering women through mentorship, marriage management and serving her husband in ministry. We believe in the power of prayer and the gift of the prophetic word to bring about transformation in people's lives. CHANGED is an acronym for Christ Has Anointed a New Generation of Excellent Disciples. Our Mission is to disciple you into your destiny in Christ. We do this through accountability, mentorship, programs and practical bible teaching that strengthens you in your walk with Jesus Christ.

EMPOWERED TRANSFORMATION

Our goal is to be a church of grace-filled believers empowered through discipleship to impact the Kingdom of God. New partners attend a two hour class educating and introducing you to Jesus Christ and the culture of Changed Church. Once completed you are able to serve in any area of ministry.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

Connect (or "Missional") Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings - in the synagogues - as well as in homes, we unite together similarly through ACTIVATION in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another.

WORSHIP SERVICES

We love music. Expect to hear everything from traditional hymns our ancestors sung, to the most recent contemporary christian/gospel music out today! We believe in allowing space for the Spirit of God to move in our services through deliverance and the activation of the prophetic ministries.

SERVICE INFORMATION

We're currently meeting at the La Sierra SDA Chapel on Sierra Vista Ave. There is parking behind the church and you can also find street parking in front of the building on Sierra Vista Ave.
